"Kevin has revealed that he will be playing a vampire in an upcoming film.
The Backstreet Boys member opened up about his plans in the film industry, saying that he will be donning a pair of fangs to play a vampire in Bloody Indulgent.
"I play a drug-addict vampire," Richardson told E! Online.
"He's got a lot of different things going on with him," he explained. "A lot of different issues he's trying to work through."
The 40-year-old went on to say that he looked for inspiration in other vampire-based TV series and movies.
"I haven't seen any of the Twilight films," Richardson said. "I do watch True Blood. I enjoy True Blood. Sometimes it's a little campy and out there, but that's fun too sometimes. I've always loved vampire films."
It was recently announced that the Backstreet Boys will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year."
