AJ McLean has turned down an offer to appear on 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here'.
The Backstreet Boys singer was asked to be part of the new series by eager ITV bosses - who were keen to sign him up - but he turned down the sizeable deal as his wife Rochelle is due to give birth at the same time the show starts.
A source told The Daily Star newspaper: "He was tempted by 'I'm A Celebrity' but his wife and new baby definitely come first."
AJ rose to fame with the boy band - who have reunited for their 20th anniversary tour which kicks off in April 2013 - and they recently returned to the studio to record their first album since 2005.
A number of well-known faces are already being lined up to appear in the new series - which airs later this year in November - including Conservative MP Louise Mensch, 'Corranation Street's' Ryan Thomas and Olympic gold medallist gymnast Beth Tweddle.
Ant and Dec - who front the popular reality show - recently spoke about who they would love to have on the forthcoming series and they revealed Grace Jones and Tim Westwood are at the top of their list.
Ant told The Daily Star newspaper: "Tim would be amazing. He's top of our list. I know the producers have asked him a couple of times before and he has said no, but the thing is, eventually they all say yes. We just wear them down.
"There are so many people who don't know about Tim and this would bring him to a new audience."
