[Backstreet Boys] @backstreetboys fan listen again after 8 years

Priscila was a normal Brazilian girl when she realized she was having some trouble to hear what people was saying and so. Slowly she was getting deaf and one day, when she woke up, she was completely deaf. At that time she was at about 17 years old and a huge Backstreet Boys fan.

Earlier this year, 8 years after she went deaf, she submitted herself to a surgery to have a Cochlear Implant implanted. It was recently activated and guess what? The first song she asked to hear was "Drowning".

This story was aired last night by a Brazilian Sunday News. They were talking about people who was born deaf and people who went deaf at some point in life. Talking about how this people could listen for the first time or come back to listen again after this implant, which is a huge thing in medicine technology. They showed a 23 years old boy and a small little kid who had never listen before and they were discovering how a song could be touching and why people love music so much. They showed Priscila's story as well, since she knew what a song could be, but wasn't able to listen to any of her favorites and as the first thing she wanted to hear, she choose Backstreet Boys.
