Pop star Nick Carter is suing his former landlady, Kenny G's ex-wife Lyndie Benson, for failing to return his security deposit when he left the rented property.
The Backstreet Boys star put down a $35,000 (£22,000) deposit to rent the beach house in Malibu, California, but received just $1,700 (£1,100) back from Benson when he moved out.
Benson accused Carter of leaving the house in a terrible state, claiming he flooded it and let his pets litter throughout the property, but Carter has fired back, insisting the house was a mess when he arrived, noting that the toilets were leaky, the carpets were already stained and the air conditioning system was broken.
According to Tmz.com, the singer is suing Benson for the full security deposit.
