"Surprise" is the key word, followed close by "proud" and "fucking yes", ok, that's not a word, but who cares?
With five concerts confirmed in Brazil, including Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo (June 11th and 12th), the Backstreet Boys and it's producer in Brazil, Time For Fun, were caught off guard last March 12th, when in a matter of hours both concerts were sold out. Times for Fun says they reached 30k visitors at the same time trying to buy tickets for the same section, crashing down the website.
Because of that, the next day the Backstreet Boys announced two extra concerts, one in each sold out venue.
General public sale for those extra concerts that will happen on June 8th and 13th started today at 9am on ticketsforfun.com.br. In less than 30 minutes, some of the most expensive and wanted sections were already sold out again.
According to some fans on Twitter, yesterday night some fans started forming a line in front of the ticket office of Citibank Hall in Sao Paulo. Notice: ticket office opening time is noon.
Proving why the Backstreet Boys are the best and biggest boy band of all times and have the most amazing fans, tickets for the extra concert in Sao Paulo were already sold out (again) before 7pm today.
Rio's extra concert still have a very few tickets available.
This tour, as we all know, promotes Backstreet Boys' 8th studio album and celebrates the bands 20th anniversary.
While in Brazil our boy will also visit:
Recife - Tickets still available
Belo Horizonte - Few tickets available for one section
Porto Alegre - Few tickets available for one section
