[Nick Carter] Backstreet's Back – with 'NSYNC and a Zombie Movie

Remember "Evil Blessings", Nick's new project? Now it's "Dead 7" or "Dead Seven" and it's got bigger. Everyone who saw some posts from Comic Con already realized he's not alone in this journey anymore, counting on AJ McLean and Howie D, from the Backstreet Boys as well as with Joey Fatone (ex N'Sync). Nick also has being using his twitter account to ask other boy band members and pop stars to join the cast.

Check the latest news:

The biggest boy band rivalry of the century has, apparently, come to an end.
Members of '90s megagroups the Backstreet Boys and 'NSYNC are joining forces to make – what else – a zombie movie.
BSB's Nick Carter is helming the upcoming Syfy channel movie, called Dead Seven, and he's cast AJ McLean and Joey Fatone in main roles.
The unexpected trio promoted the movie, which is also a western, at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend.
Carter, 35, who is writing, directing and starring in the film, is working with The Asylum, the production company behind Sharknado.
Fatone, 38, and Carter will play heroes, while McLean, 37, will star as the apprentice to the main villain.
"This is such therapy for us," Fatone joked to BuzzFeed.
The fast friends insist that the movie isn't the result of a peace treaty – in fact, they insist a rivalry never even existed between the bands.
"We shared the same management, same label … but they would always kinda keep us away, apart, but there was actually no legitimate reason," Fatone told BuzzFeed.
For those who still can't pick a side, however, Carter said the movie will be cathartic.
"Think about it," Nick said. "Boy-banders, people from the late '90s, people who you love, fighting zombies in a post-apocalyptic world. Pretty crazy, right?"
