AJ's newest song is finally out! Since last year he's being on studio working on his next solo album and recently recorded the video for his first single, "Live Together".
He told People Mag that "The inspiration [for] 'Live Together' came from all of the sadness I was feeling about the horrible things happening in the world and about how important it is for us all to come together to make change. I wanted to try to do something small that could become something bigger, and for me that's always happened through music."
Live Together is also the name of AJ and Jordan Omley's foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises money for individuals who may need it. It was created at the end of 2014 and it's first fundraiser was held around the video shoot for "Live Together." The proceeds from that shoot, as well as an additional donation from McLean, were used to replace instruments that were stolen from Marshall Fundamental High School in Pasadena, California. The students' music room also received a complete makeover.
